Dragonkind Guide

This Dragonkind Guide helps you match the scene in front of you with reported choices, routes, and retry details. Start with your current prompt, then open the section that fits your run.

Once signed in, look for your wing, section, and squad assignment before clicking into Brave Threshing. Those labels were captured in MoodReads’ October 2 play session (Reported starting flow[s04]). Jot down your assignment before you begin. It gives you a clean baseline if you want to compare multiple runs later.

Understanding your dragon card

Published player result cards include several distinct attributes. When logging or sharing your outcome, record each field separately instead of treating dragon color as the entire result (Result examples collected by MoodReads[s04]).

FieldWhat to record
NameThe exact spelling on your card, including apostrophes or unusual characters
ColorThe dragon color stated in the result
Tail typeThe named tail type, tracked separately from color
Age and sexThe exact values displayed on the card
LineageThe exact lineage label shown. Do not replace it with a guessed translation

Rebecca Yarros’s official FAQ confirms that every dragon color and tail type is possible, without publishing drop rates or odds (Official FAQ[s02]). Because those numbers are not public, this Dragonkind Guide does not invent rarity percentages, power tiers, or predicted signets for your card.

Use this Dragonkind Guide by scene, not just color

Searching for “red dragon answers” is rarely enough to find the right steps. A red dragon walking beneath your tree and a red dragon waiting at the valley center are completely separate encounters. Even a two-green clearing can end with an orange dragon stepping in (Community branch overview[s05]).

Always match your location and current prompt first, then follow the corresponding scene card. Every card links to its source and keeps the reported outcome distinct from anything still unverified.
